Teachers

Teacher- I usually go by Mom or Nikki, let us just say that I wear many hats as a homeschooling woman so any title/name will do.  Let me start by saying that I never ever saw myself homeschooling.  Never thought I would be a stay-at-home-mom.  Never thought I would have children, especially this close in age.  Never saw myself as any of this, yet here I am.  God has a way to get us to see His plans instead of our own.  His plans have obviously been vastly different from anything that I imagined but I can't imagine my life being any different right now.  I love being able to teach my children from the comfort of our kitchen table, floor, back yard, the car.  I have the luxury to teach my children in the way that suits them best.  I am able to cater to their different learning styles yet still cover the same information, I just change I how I deliver that information.  I love being able to have the freedom to teach what I want, when I want, how I want, where I want and with who I want.  I enjoy seeing my children learn how to read a new word, discover something new, just seeing that look on their face as the are experiencing things for the first time is priceless!  These are things that I don't want to miss.

Teacher/assistant- He usually goes by Dad or Zach.  When he isn't working hard at his job he is home helping out with the children.  He is completely supportive of the homeschooling endeavor and I could not do it without his backing.  Thank you!  He is great at singing songs with and to the kids, building things with them, doing puzzles, getting outdoors and active with them, and whatever else comes up he is such a great asset and help.

We feel blessed to have our children and that God has entrusted us with this awesome responsibility as their parents.
